Bronze twin handled bowl on raised foot, with original patination, the bowl set with silver rosettes. The foot decorated with 4 enamels, the work attributed to Ernest Charles Jeffries, in silver settings.
We have had this item in our personal collection for some years in the hope of finding a maker and it was only when a selection of items came up at Fieldings auction, and the subsequent assidiuos research by Anthony Bernbaum, that a firm attribution could be made.
